At first it was the vibrant colors of this little beauty that caught my eye, but then I saw the detailed beading and studded shoulder strap and became totally smitten.  I mean, the attention to detail just makes my heart go pitter pat. The way the sides angle out to give the bag more dimension and the contrast between the sheen on the beads and the matte of the suede… it’s all just too good!

I have always adhered to the skincare law of washing my fave every night before bed, but that doesn’t mean I like it! So, when I found a product that allows me to remove my makeup, cleanse my skin, and even get a little aromatherapy with a simple swipe, I was all over it.

I usually use the Pond’s cleansing and exfoliating cloths, but there are variations for every skin type.  Whether you have sensitive skin (Simple products are great for that), acne-prone skin (‘Yes to’ wipes actually contain salicylic acid to prevent breakouts), or like to experiment with lots of makeup (MAC wipes contain extra moisture to help remove highly pigmented products), there is a facial wipe for you.

Now, I really have no excuse to go to bed with any makeup on.

After I get over my initial jealousy when looking at photos of her, I’m able to break down her style and see that it’s actually do-able for the rest of us real people.

The real beauty of her ensembles is actually in their simplicity- Kerr goes for fairly basic outfits pulled together with a few key things: an amazing pair of shoes, a killer scarf, a skilled mixture of lengths, and just enough ‘trend’ to look up to date without trying too hard.  And as always, be sure to make sure the items are tailored to fit you perfectly.  You can get away with a multitude of sins if your clothes fir you to a T… not that you should  :)

For someone who works jeans into rotation throughout the spring and summer (like me!), a great pair of flared denim can really go the extra mile. Not to mention they add the perfect touch of 70′s flare to pretty much anything you pair with them on top.  One of my absolute favorites is Rachel Zoe’s ‘Rachel bootcut jean’.  They’re super long, and amazingly flattering.  If your want your legs to look like the go for miles, I would give ‘em a try.

And I’m talking allllllll of the 90′s trends. There are overalls, baggy jeans, leather jackets, crop tops, ripped denim, plaid button-downs, and the list goes on.

But hey … at least scrunchies have stayed firmly planted in that decade.

Nothing says “the warm weather is finally here” quite like an embroidered white dress… and I particularly loooooove how this one is styled.  From the bold red lip and perfectly tousled hair to the edgy, geometric cuff- it’s all just perfection.

Anyone who knows me knows that I tend to make most decisions waaaay more complicated than they need to be. I can spend days waffling back and forth contemplating a something that would take the average person about 5 minutes to decide. Case-in-point: overalls.
I have been debating taking the plunge for while now, and am still no closer to an answer than I was when I first started drooling over the sleek dark denim pair that Leandra Medine (aka The Man Repeller) is wearing on the cover of her new book. But then again, if I start thinking too hard, I begin to conjure up images of my at age 3 romping around in is a sad little pair of Oshkosh’s.
….. and here I go again

So, to all of you more decisive people out there, I pose the question:
Overalls: fun, kitschy trend to try OR too much like a grown-up diaper?

Sometimes we all need a reminder  :)

No outfit is complete without them, so pile ‘em on, and stack ‘em high! Let your accessories do the talking so you can occupy your time with whatever you like.
