Fallen Trees

I think this was the last bit of warm weather that North Carolina had to offer.  I actually hadn’t planned on documenting this outing, but Garrett had his camera on him, and we came across a fallen tree that was just too good to pass up.  Even though it was warm in the sun, I was glad to have a wool cardigan on me.  I really love this cardigan in particular because it has a detachable collar that can give you a shawl-like collar (like I have here), or take it off for a simple V neck.  I always enjoy squeezing as many outfits out of one piece as possible  Gotta love versatility!

Garrett and I took our dog for a boat ride with his parents.  It was her first time on a boat, and she seemingly had no fear.  When we stopped in the afternoon to throw out the anchor and each lunch, she flew off the boat, and was more than happy to swim out into the lake to reclaim any (and every) stick that she saw in the lake.
